About Us

Brief description

Originally opened as the Whalley Road Cafe at the end of the nineteenth century, the bakery was established in 1951. Still family owned and operated, the bakery retains its traditional values of quality and service. The recipes for a lot of the products made today have not changed for decades! Wherever possible we use local ingredients from local suppliers. We bake fresh bread, tea cakes, savoury pies, fruit pies, cakes and pastries six-days a week, all of which are available from our retail shop at the front of the premises.
