Great location. The bay horse is very welcoming with a lively atmosphere. The beer's always cold! The staff are very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be returning there for another satisfying meal!!! Get any meat medium though, well done is burnt!

The bay horse at Roughlee is a brilliant pub to get some food on a weekend. They do a great carvery too, which is very good value for money and there's lots to choose from. The locals are friendly and the surroundings are stunning. A great place to end up after a sunday walk, should you be in the area.
