bought disco 2 from here, advert said fsh but service history had apparently gone missing. car had 3 warning lights on dash which i was told without prompt these would be sorted. so picked up car with no warning lights.. day after water leakage from headliner. so told dealer said they would sort if i brought it back in the meantime warning lights came back on....long story short vehicle spent 6 weeks out of 8 back at the dealer in this time they either of the problems, but they managed to break a heated screen and replaced with a cheap non heated one and which took 4 attemps to seal but didnt cure original leak. and i also noticed they put a standard rear view mirror in instead of the expensive auto dim one that was in... overall very poor service and very incompitant.in the end i took the car away from them as each time it went in it came out worse off. i have since sorted these problems with a little investigation on various web sites... i bought from a dealer at dealer money to get dealer service..

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Ashley reassured me that the car is in perfect mechanical condition and just few scratches around. I traveled all the way from London and bought the car as I didn't mind the bodywork condition. 200 miles later, the car had leaks coming from the gearbox, engine and the cooling system. I am not even sure how I made it back home! Next morning they didn't want to hear about my problems and said that I had a choice and nobody forced me to buy the car which now will cost me extra £2000. I am not sure how these people sleep at night while they play with people's lives. Do not even bother talking to them, just browse around and see what people think about their service!!!

purchased a used car from these cowboys, a week later i had a near miss due to the car wandering all over the road, took it to a garage and was shocked to hear what had been done to the car, 1 suspension strut welded to chassis, 2, anti roll bar held on by exhaust bracket ( which then snapped causing my near miss) 3 os & ns front wheel bearings shot 4 front bumper held on with string 5 bald tyres all round and down to canvas on front 2 6 struts leaking fluid i asked for refund or repair and was refused both now going to court to get my money back and trading standards have been informed as for the receipt they ask you to sign its a joke so do not sign it until you have read it in full as they just inform you its your receipt without telling you of its full content sign it at your peril AVOID THIS DEALER IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE !!!!

Well so there advert. Went to see the car. Very polite. Asked if it was ok to plug in the OBDC fault detector. They said no............ On closer inspection found loads of faults. I personally think they write their own rave reviews on this site. Personally I would not touch these guys.

I travelled for an hour to part ex on a vehicle. The website made it look very good value and stated it was immaculate condition with full leather interior. The sales adviser Ashley said the car was well worth every penny of the £8000 price tag. The car wasn't worth a quarter of this. Their was scratches all over the vehicle that they had very badly tried to disguise. Rust in the doors and wheel arches and the car itself was very dirty, used cigarettes also present inside the car and there was no leather interior. After bringing all this to Ashley's attention he stated that the car was perfect although once driven off the forecourt was no longer their responsibility, despite the advertisement of a 12 month warranty. Absolute disgrace of a garage. I would recommend to never use this place. Scams terms trying to make money out of very dodgy looking vehicles, they couldn't get me out of the garage quick enough after stating I wasn't going to purchase the vehicle. The website is nothing like the real thing. Avoid at all costs.

Very disapointed with the customer service I received this afternoon (22/07/2013). I was kept waiting for quite a while and when I did get seen the young man (unsure of his name but a slim chap), he looked me up and down straight away and was very abrupt and rude with any questions I had. I enquired about 2 Range Rovers, 1 for £10,000 and 1 just over £13,000. The car sales man who did not take me seriously at all would do well to remember not to judge a book by its cover. I went in today dressed in casual clothing and rightly so did not look like a "Range Rover driver" and also maybe I looked young and the car sales man thought I was a time waster however I can assure to anyone reading this review I was not and had actually made my mind up on purchasing 1 of the cars. I am seriously considering taking my business else where even though I did like the car. The car sales man also made it quite clear that no test drive would be allowed until the car was a definate purchase and practically paid for? Why would anybody buy a car without a test drive? I did visit this same garage either last week or the week before and the sales man who helped me then with my enquiry about a Land Rover Discovery could have not have been more helpful and polite, even though they were about to close. It is unfortunate that my experience today has probably cost Global Automobiles my business.

I bought a Mercedes CLK of Ashley at Global Automobiles and the vehicle has been as described and has not had any problems arise in over three months. On viewing I noticed an oil leak but was assured it would be fixed. When car picked up i was told it had been repaired so you can imagine my horror when oil appeared soon after and more so when checked at a reputable dealer to find it had been repaired by using packing sponges and a car mat on the sump plate to collect the oil. A fire just waiting to happen! Deal with these guys and you risk your life Disgusted!

The salesman Ashley applied for finance in my name without my consent!!!! I just wanted an indication of what rate I would get. The first I learned of it was when the finance company wrote to me confirming my policy! Complained to the owner Junior who gave a half hearted apology and said "This business would be nothing without Ashley, and this conversation is useless anyway". The finance company offered to liaise with him and the credit rating agencies to delete the record of the application but Junior said "this is a waste of my time". A very different attitude from when I was looking to buy the car. How true colours show! I am very relieved I decided not to buy a car from them since this has shown me that customer service is pretty rubbish, and this corroborates what I read in another review about this company.

I bought a BMW from these crooks. ABS, Traction control, Engine management warning lights all disabled to disguise serious faults. After they've got your money they won't even talk to you. It's cost me over a thousand pounds to bring the car to a MOT able condition. Check the small print on the sales agreement before parting with any money, you won't believe what they ask you to sign. Trading Standards are pursuing.

I recently purchsed a Mercedes E220 from Global Automobiles. The guys are very helpful and made me feel relaxed. The kids were given lollipops which made them happy too! I've been very happy with the car and have not had any problems. Being my usual self I left my house keys in the sales office and the staff were kind enough to call me and meet me about 10 miles away from the garage to return the keys! Thanks for a great service!

I bought my wife a car recently and within 1 mile i noticed the clutch had a problem and also the car kept cutting out ...........i wont bore anyone with the full details but to say I had to get Trading Standard involved says it all ......customer service zero after you have paid your money ..........Thank God I have some very powerful friends other wise i would not have got my money back ...........DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had research Global before I bought my car from them. The car I purchased for just over £3,000, was given to me without petrol in for start, I barely made it to a station to drive it home... I should've realised then that they were idiots! It slipped my mind to test the CD player before I purchased the car, but I didn't have a CD on me. Once I got it home I realised it wasn't working. When I rang to tell them, their reply was “So? That's not our problem now, take it to Halfords.” Great customer service eh? Within a couple of months a horrid sound began to occur, I took it to a mechanic who told me the gearbox was on its last legs – not what I'd expect after just paying £3,000. When I told them? They got angry, aggressive, rude and insulting. They were not interested. Luckily the trade standards was on my side, and once they realised it could be taken to court they decided to sort it out. Or so they said. Their words were, “take it through the courts and you won't have your car for a long time”. So we agreed to speed up the process, contribute towards the repair costs. They had my car for two months, at times refusing to cooperate saying that they'd taken the gear box out so I can't even go and get my car back. For two months, I was without a car and given abuse on a daily basis when I rang to see if any progress was made. Now I have my car back, and still believe that the job they've done was a botched one. I warn everyone NOT TO BUY A CAR FROM HERE – they're all nicey nicey before they get your money, but once they do treat you like dirt. You've been warned.

Recently purchased a volvo v70 from Global Automobiles. I noticed this vehicle on the internet (ebay) & it grabbed my attention straight away. When i visited the garage and viewed the vehicle which was just as clean as it looked in the picture, this give me great confidence and after a test drive i chose to purchase. Recently popped down from Blackpool to Blackburn in search of a car... Checked online through Autotrader for a used Audi..found 250 results in Blackburn alone! Narrowed my search down to 5 cars...went to all the garages which advertised the 5 cars i was interested in.. Found the lads at Global Automobiles extremely proffesional and handy. Straight to the point, maximum part ex value for my car and they taxed my car for me too!! i got 7 days free fully comprehensive insurance and they put fuel in for me to get home (and use the car for the next week!!) Extremely happy with the service and would definately call all punters looking in the area for a vehicle to go see them...great choice, great atmosphere and perfect prices!!! Thanks Ash & Junior :)
